Claremont shows solidarity with Sikhs
A wide representation of the Los Angeles area interfaith religious leadership joined the Sikh community on the steps of L.A.’s City Hall Sunday, Aug. 12, for a Vigil to honor the Wisconsin shooting victims. President Jerry Campbell spoke about his hope that models such as Claremont Lincoln University could help prevent such tragedies in the future. Jewish, Muslim, Quaker, Baha'i, and Hindu leaders also joined the Sikh leaders and L.A. Councilwoman Jan Perry to speak movingly on the need for interfaith understanding and love.
