All are invited to “Buddha Jayanti 2012,” a celebration of Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and passing, on Sunday May 6, at Mudd Theater, Claremont Lincoln University, from 5 to 8 p.m.

There is no charge for the festivities, which include: Dinner, a short film about Buddha, information about his birthplace in Nepal, special Bhajans (devotional songs), Dances, and Prayers, and a display of Buddhist artifacts and books.

Please RSVP by April 30, 2012 to info@pashupatinathfoundation.org, so that they can plan enough food for the dinner, which is free.
