In the face of the distrust and animosity between Christians and Muslims in many parts of the world, courageous seeds of peace are also being sown. Our community is one of those seeds. A number of our faculty, students, and friends were featured in a new one-hour documentary that aired recently on ABC, entitled Waging Peace: Muslim and Christian Alternatives.

The film features Provost Philip Clayton, Rev. Dr. Gwynne Guibord, Temecula Imam and Claremont Lincoln student Mahmoud Harmoush, Prof. Sheryl Kujawa-Holbrook, Prof. Marvin Sweeney, Prof. Najeeba Syeed-Miller, and Imam Jihad Turk, as well as students Chris Carter, Angelina Duell, Chris Hong, Emrys Staton, and more. Other peacemakers, including friend of Claremont, Eboo Patel, are also included.

DVDs of Waging Peace can be ordered from the MennoMedia Store for $24.95.
